Educational Support Professional for SEN Students

**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Educational Support Professional to join our team at a Secondary school in Richmond. The successful candidate will be supporting SEN students across KS3/KS4 in all classes, with a focus on students with SpLD, i.e. dyslexia.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children with special needs and a proactive approach to supporting these students. While prior experience is beneficial, the school is willing to consider candidates who have a keen interest in supporting young individuals with SpLD.
The role involves supporting SEN students in a variety of settings, including classrooms, corridors, and playgrounds. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, other teaching assistants, and support staff to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
**Key Skills and Qualifications:**
- Experience working with SEN children aged 11-16 in a school or care setting
- Professional, friendly approach
- Enthusiastic and resilient
- Experience managing challenging behaviour
**Salary:** £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
