About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Flood Risk Consultant to join our team at Pertemps TM. As a Flood Risk Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of flood risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver tailored flood risk solutions
  • Participate in design meetings to ensure effective flood risk mitigation strategies
  • Manage projects independently, overseeing client relationships and maintaining detailed designs
  • Engage with local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Conduct site visits to assess flood risk and develop strategies
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of post-graduate experience, preferably in a consultancy setting
  • Experience in flood risk and sustainable drainage strategy for private sector developments, energy, and regeneration projects
  • Knowledge of SuDS standards and relevant software such as GIS and AutoCAD
  • Understanding of the UK planning process for new developments, energy, and regeneration projects
