About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Marshalls, a leading manufacturer of pitched roof systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous running of our production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Eliminate downtime through safe and logical approaches to fault finding and maintenance of equipment
  • Carry out a range of planned and reactive engineering activities on site, including mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Work on various types of equipment, including complex systems, to ensure a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of mechanical engineering and experience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Apprentice-trained Mechanical Engineer to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent level of English, oral and written
  • Team player with attention to detail and good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues
