Senior Civil Engineer - Defence Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team, supporting operations and future programs at client sites.

The role involves working alongside other engineers to author, develop, assess, and maintain engineering design substantiation for a defence organization's nuclear facilities.

  • Author and manage design substantiation documents
  • Oversee civil design changes and concessions
  • Present safety cases to committees
  • Develop EIMT schedules and safety reviews
  • Provide technical advice and conduct independent reviews
  • Apply engineering knowledge in high-risk environments
  • Justify civil/structural design modifications

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in design assessment for RC and steel structures, including dynamic loads, such as earthquakes, blasts, and wind.

Experience with RC and steelwork marine structures and jetties is also desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and thriving company on a long-term contract basis.
