About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Recovery Lead to join our team at Solent NHS Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our mental health services and driving culture change across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive recovery-focused practice strategy, aligned with the Trust's vision and values.
  • Lead the expansion and implementation of our Recovery College, working in partnership with Recovery College Leads and stakeholders.
  • Embed meaningful coproduction and involvement in day-to-day practice, ensuring that the voices and experiences of service users are at the heart of our decision-making.
  • Work closely with corporate teams to support the lived experience and wellbeing of our non-peer workforce.
  • Proactively build connections with community partners to build assets and reduce fragmented experiences of care provision.
  • Collaborate with the Peer Lead to ensure the peer workforce is a central and valued part of our service.
Requirements
  • Masters' degree level or equivalent experience, with a recognized health and care professional registration.
  • Experience of working in or alongside a Recovery College and with Peer workers, able to reflect and articulate the unique value of this.
  • Experience of leading in a complex and constantly changing NHS environment, with a proven track record of achievement in high-quality standards.
  • Ability to manage a large workload, prioritize competing agendas, and motivate collaborative working to improve services and performance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven record of driving flexible and adaptable working practices.
  • Advanced IT skills, with the ability to assimilate, interpret, and present complex information from varied sources.
