Job Title: Postal Delivery Worker

Location: Inverurie

Contract Length: Ongoing

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 14:00-21:30

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: £16.58 - £18.08 per hour (increased rates for shifts past 8pm and Sundays)

Pertemps is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Postal/Parcel Delivery Worker to join our esteemed client in Inverurie. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in customer service and enjoy an active, varied role.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Sort and prepare parcels for delivery at the local delivery office.
  • Use a handheld device for capturing delivery signatures and route navigation.
  • Walk up to 8 miles daily, carrying up to 16kg of mail and parcels up to 20kg.
  • Deliver by vehicle and on foot, using a trolley when needed to ensure efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Valid UK Driving License: Up to 6 points permitted (clean license preferred).
  • Experience: Prior delivery or driving experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Customer-Focused: Strong time management, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Weather Ready: Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
