Job Description

Criterion Capital Head Office is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Property Manager to join their team. As a key member of the Property and Facilities Management Department, this role will provide an exciting opportunity to work with a multi-billion-pound family-owned entrepreneurial private property company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out general and detailed property management tasks, including updating various discipline asset and property management tracker spreadsheets.
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are applied to required standards, including utilities management and cost control.
  • Working alongside the facilities management team to oversee maintenance matters, including day-to-day, contracted, and cyclical maintenance.
  • Managing properties, establishing and aiding relationships with tenants, owners, and contractors, and ensuring property legal and statutory compliance.
  • Preparing and maintaining vacant properties, assisting with relevant marketing, and issuing and collecting rents, service charges, and other charges.

Requirements:

  • Experience of Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Property management software systems, such as Tramps/Bluebox, and knowledge of Yardi would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of commercial leases, service charges, insurance, and utilities.
  • Experience of liaising with clients, occupiers, contractors, external agents, and local authorities.
  • Understanding of current health and safety legislation and statutory compliance.
  • Knowledge of buildings, maintenance, and services.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team, with high-level organizational and administrative skills.
