Electronics Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Systems Specialist at Singular Recruitment to contribute to our advanced electronic-scanning ground radar systems. This role offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $190,000 annually.
Main duties of this FPGA Systems Specialist position involve:
- Leadership in DSP system design and architecture
- Design, development, and verification of FPGA code (VHDL or Verilog) using Xilinx design tools
- Creativity of software for test and verification of FPGA code
- Guidance on field trials of signal processing performance
- Documentation preparation for inter-team communication
This role demands:
- An Engineering or relevant technical degree (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
- Xilinx design tool proficiency
- Signal processing algorithm implementation experience
- Knowledge of high-speed digital circuit design
- Design verification expertise
BENEFICIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Radar, sonar, or similar sensor systems understanding
- Radar signal processing techniques awareness
- Embedded Linux C/C++ development expertise
- Yocto and/or Petalinux build systems familiarity
- Xilinx HLS experience
