Quality Inspector Job Opportunity

Osborne Appointments is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join our client based in Welwyn Garden City on a temporary to permanent basis.

Working Hours: Alternating Shift weekly rotating AM and PM shift

Hourly Rate: £14.00 based on experience plus a 15% shift premium

This is a long-term temporary to permanent position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Checking inspection records
  • Quality checking products at various points of production
  • Working with and supporting the quality manager
  • Understanding and working with Engineering drawings
  • Use of measuring equipment (e.g., micro meter, verniers, DTI's, and Shadowgraphs)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a similar environment (desired but not essential)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to learn
  • Good communication skills with the team
  • Ability to undertake a demanding role
  • Self-motivated/proactive work ethic
