Seeking an exceptional English and Drama Teacher to join Term Time Teachers. This maternity cover, fixed term role includes teaching English to pupils aged 9-13 and managing Drama throughout the Prep School.

The successful candidate will oversee the planning of a school-wide Drama program and teach drama and English to upper Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 as required.

A competitive salary is offered for this role, estimated at around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.

Job Description:
  • Teach drama and English to upper Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 as required.
  • Produce and direct major School productions and support the Head of English with the direction of the Upper School production.
  • Undertake target setting and administer standardised tests to produce careful records of achievement and gain insight into pupils' progression.
  • Create a stimulating atmosphere in the classroom through attractive displays, use of books, artefacts etc.
  • Communicate with parents through parents' evenings and written reports.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils.

Requirements include recognised teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent) and working in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.
