Environmental Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Environmental Team as an Apprentice Environmental Operative. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the grounds and landscaped areas owned by Riverside, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake general maintenance tasks, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, litter picking, and clearing leaves and shrub bed cultivations.
- Provide a rapid response to the removal of fly tipping, rubbish removal, and graffiti removal.
- Maintain safe working practices when using hand tools and machinery.
- Report health, safety, and environmental breaches to the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain effective relationships with colleagues.
- Environmental Services or grounds maintenance experience.
- Ability to undertake manual work.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Clean driving license.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
