Join the University of Birmingham as a Research Coordinator and contribute to the creation of knowledge by undertaking a range of activities within an established research programme.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support for the ACE multi-site randomised controlled trial based in the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences. This busy role will focus on supporting the TM and CI to coordinate and deliver the project, liaising with research partners, and organising meetings and documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with post award and the finance office to present regular financial reports to the CI and TM
- Coordinating communication between project partners
- Organising research meetings and preparing papers
- Supporting ACE study data entry following appropriate training
- Providing support at ACE participant measurement sessions
- Downloading and filing ACE accelerometry data
- Supporting the updating and maintenance of the study website and social media accounts
Requirements include:
- Education to undergraduate degree level or equivalent
- Professional experience and evidence of continuing professional development or further learning
- Excellent IT skills including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and the UoB finance system
- Flexibility to take on a wide variety of tasks
