We offer a competitive rate of pay, estimated to be around £20,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. About the Role

As a Care Assistant at one of our Barchester care homes, you'll play a vital role in helping residents enjoy each day by providing quality care and support. You'll assist with daily living tasks, provide companionship, and help create meaningful memories for our residents. Every day will be different, so you can expect to undertake a variety of tasks that are as varied as they are rewarding.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with their daily living needs, such as personal care and medication management.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Support residents with their food and drink, ensuring they receive the nourishment they need to stay healthy and well.
  • Follow care plans to ensure each resident receives the best possible care and support.


About You

To join us as a Care Assistant, you'll need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach, and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, but above all, you'll need to have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents. We'll provide all the training you need to thrive in this role.
