Aircraft Maintenance Technician

At Jet2.com, we are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with regulatory airworthiness standards and Jet2.com Company Policy.
About the Role:
This is a vital job in ensuring that the aircraft presented to our customers are serviceable, on time and clean. You will undertake scheduled and un-scheduled aircraft maintenance and carry out pre-flight, daily and weekly checks of aircraft. Licensed Mechanic's will take responsibility for rectification and repair, certification of all servicing and maintenance tasks within your scope of approval.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with regulatory airworthiness standards and Jet2.com Company Policy.
• Undertake scheduled and un-scheduled aircraft maintenance and carry out pre-flight, daily and weekly checks of aircraft.
• Take responsibility for rectification and repair, certification of all servicing and maintenance tasks within your scope of approval.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will ideally be CAA / EASA PART 66 CATEGORY A Licence Qualified with experience working on commercial aircraft. Previous experience holding approvals on Boeing and Airbus Aircraft would be advantageous. You will need to have a full UK Driving Licence and clear DBS check. In addition, you will be highly organised and able to prioritise work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
