Job Title: Technical Estimator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Estimator to join our team at HR GO Recruitment. As a Technical Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely customer quotes, collaborating with internal technical partners, and maintaining a comprehensive database of technical information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate customer quotes, costs, and queries with precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure information accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain a detailed record of estimates and technical data, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and contractors, both verbally and in writing.
  • Stay up-to-date with product offerings and software tools, ensuring proficiency and adaptability.
  • Address and resolve issues promptly, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses 2+ years of technical experience in a similar role, with a strong background in mechanical/technical knowledge.
  • Has a mathematical and engineering background, with a solid understanding of sheet metal/HVAC systems.
  • Boasts strong IT skills, with proficiency in CAD/project software and a willingness to learn.
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Is capable of troubleshooting and problem-solving effectively, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Understands production processes and equipment for safety and efficiency, with a commitment to compliance.
