Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Anderselite. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall commercial management of several construction schemes, including housing and extra care projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial support to site and project managers
  • Monitor and update costs of projects by reviewing monthly financial forecasts against actual costs
  • Subcontractor procurement and management from inception to completion
  • Valuation, certification, and approval of payments to subcontractors
  • Provide guidance to the operational team on the cost estimation process and awareness of contract requirements
  • Report directly to clients and managers
  • Present valuation reports and cost estimation
  • Tender and negotiate contracts
  • Estimate target costs and budget prices
  • Prepare lump sum bids and compile enquiry documents for competitive bidding

Requirements:

  • HND Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years working as a Quantity Surveyor
