Production Manager Job Description

Prime Appointments is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join a rapidly growing FMCG company in Colchester. This role involves working night shifts from Monday to Thursday.

As a key member of the production team, you will play a crucial role in the company's continued growth and expansion. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organizing daily production schedules to ensure smooth operations
  • Confirming and inputting orders into the site's ERP system
  • Leading quality, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards
  • Overseeing staff levels, scheduling, and performance
  • Collaborating with the senior team on new product development
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Coordinating line operations with packhouse supervisors
  • Maintaining quality assurance to meet customer standards
  • Working with all teams to align with auditing standards

Requirements:

  • Experience in a production or management role within the food industry
  • Ability to work night shifts
