Job Title: Assistant Director

CBRE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our site team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operational activities of our medium-sized premises in the city centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to budgetary costs and customer service standards
  • Manage onsite personnel and maintain a high standard of building maintenance and servicing
  • Assist with the drafting, control, and reporting of the service charge budget and expenditure
  • Carry out regular inspection audits and take remedial action as required
  • Work with the Regional Facilities Manager and key stakeholders to ensure a maintenance and repair programme is in place
  • Participate in regular tenant meetings and ensure all issues are promptly dealt with
  • Liaise with local authorities as appropriate
  • Manage major work programmes and oversee the work carried out by contractors
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a facilities environment in a supervisory or management role
  • Knowledge of the technical aspects of premises management
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a pressurised environment
