Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

Location: Blacks Veterinary Practice, West Midlands

Job Type: Permanent, full-time (open to 35hrs plus)

Hours: 40 hours per week, 1:10 full weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and 1:5 Saturdays with time back in Lieu

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Blacks Vets. Our practice has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care to our patients and their owners, and we are committed to supporting the physical and mental health of all our associates.

As a Veterinary Surgeon with Blacks Vets, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of veterinarians and nurses, and to develop your skills and expertise in a variety of areas, including consults, surgery, and dentistry.

About us:

We are a small animal, first opinion and referral practice with a strong vet team of 16 including 7 Certificate holders, plus a further 6 Vets currently studying. These include cardiology, dermatology, medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, and surgery - soft tissue and orthopaedic.

Our practices have access to state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment - including CT, a fully equipped dental suite (dental training available) and 12 operating theatres.

We pride ourselves on being family vets for family pets, and we have a proven track record of producing talent in a variety of disciplines from graduates to certificate holders, to branch management, leadership, and director roles.
