- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including servicing and parts replacement.\
- Identify and fix vehicle faults, specifying the correct repair method and parts.\
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and servicing using handheld devices when necessary.\
- Perform road tests to identify specific vehicle defects or after repairs.\
- Have PCV Mechanical repair skills; electrics knowledge is beneficial but not required.\

\Compensation and Benefits

- £19.98 per hour\
- 38 hours per week\
- Monday to Friday, 7 pm to 2:36 am\
About You
\- \
- Minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (City & Guilds levels 1 & 2)\
- Fully licensed Cat B driver\
- Not essential but willing to obtain PCV license\
- Familiarity with vehicle systems, including engines, gearboxes, drive trains, air, hydraulic, braking, steering, suspension, cooling, and basic auto electrics.\
- Proficiency with workshop equipment, such as brake rolling road testers, tracking gauges, hydraulic vehicle lifts, pressure washers, and testing equipment.\
- Working experience with diagnostic tools, including flow meters, air and vacuum gauges, multimeters, temperature gauges, micrometers, Vernier gauges, engine and gearbox laptop testing equipment.\
- Availability for manufacturer product training, DVSA vehicle inspection training, and specialist vehicle recovery training as needed, potentially involving overnight stays.\
