About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Hartford Care team as an Administrator/Receptionist. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and their families.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, and working closely with the Home Manager to maintain a smooth-running environment.
As an experienced administrator/receptionist, you will have strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. You will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the Home Manager and other members of the team
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems as required
- Liaising with potential applicants, residents, and their families to arrange interviews and provide information
- Demonstrating a caring and compassionate approach in all interactions
Requirements
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- A flexible approach to working hours, with a willingness to work weekends and bank holidays
- An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which will be conducted as part of the recruitment process
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
