About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sheet Metal Workers team at BAE Systems, where you will be responsible for manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture. You will work to engineering standards, striving for quality first time, and use a range of hand tools.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture and install ventilation and furniture
• Work to engineering standards, striving for quality first time
• Use a range of hand tools
• Hand skills required for manufacturing and installation purposes
• Understanding of manufacturing and installation drawing

Requirements

• Modern Apprenticeship certificate (Trade Papers) - you will be required to provide papers
• Clear understanding of SHE, COSHH risks awareness and manufacturing processes
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height
• Safety certification (SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height etc)
• Background in a major construction/manufacturing environment

Benefits and Salary
