Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Field Service Engineer Apprentice to join our Radiology team. As a Field Service Engineer Apprentice, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend hospital Radiology departments to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of medical equipment
  • Gain experience in field service activities and develop an understanding of working within the NHS and private sector healthcare environments
  • Develop an understanding of the specifics of the field service role through close monitoring and working with a supervising engineer
  • Assist qualified engineers with the planning and performing of on-site service support as required
  • Keep accurate records of all work carried out and adhere to all department and company processes and compliance requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum of grade A-C / grade 4 in Maths and English GCSE level, Science A-levels preferred
  • Mandatory pre-requisite equivalent to a Level 2 engineering discipline
  • Mandatory valid passport and 1-year full clean driving licence
  • Ability to display a basic understanding and keen interest of electrical/mechanical engineering
  • Enthusiastic and good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a wider team
  • Ability to act with integrity in a highly compliant environment
