Job Title: Senior Optical Systems and Networks Architect

About the Role:
We are working with a leading London-based Computer Networking company that is pushing the boundaries of AI and Machine Learning technology. They are looking for a Senior Optical Systems and Networks Architect to join their team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge products that aim to increase productivity in Data Centres and HPCs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical lead on optical network system implementation, testing and integration.
  • Build optical testbeds and implement automated measurement methodologies to identify system performance limits.
  • Model and characterise electrical and optical components as well as end-to-end systems for performance optimisation.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience in high-speed computer networking architecture and optical systems engineering. They will be responsible for driving optical network testbeds, modelling and characterising systems using automated measurements, and interfacing with other teams towards product development. The successful candidate will be expected to work on and develop a series of prototypes to deliver a production-grade solution.
