This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Cost Manager to work on high-profile infrastructure projects and programmes, providing cost control and performance management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, administering, and maintaining cost control systems and procedures, working closely with project delivery teams and the integrated project team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and maintaining accurate project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
  2. Establishing a robust performance measurement baseline and supporting the change control process.
  3. Developing project cost breakdown structures and aligning time phasing of budgets against the work breakdown structure.
  4. Producing accruals to ensure accurate reflection of actual costs.
  5. Generating cost reports on a regular basis, including earned value analysis.
  6. Supporting the development of change requests and integrating approved changes into the project baseline.
  7. Updating project forecasts to ensure comprehensive and aligned estimate to complete.
  8. Providing cost information to support performance management decision making and project status reporting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cost control in a project environment, practical experience of using MS Excel, and an understanding of how other aspects of project controls interact with cost control.

UK driving license or ability to travel to client sites across the region is essential, as is current security clearance or ability to achieve this.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills.
