Year 1 Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Oxford. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

About the Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth. Your primary focus will be on teaching the Key Stage 1 curriculum to a group of children, while also catering to individual learning targets and needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote teamwork and creativity
  • Assessing and tracking student progress, providing regular feedback and reporting to parents
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
  • Supporting the school's pastoral environment by promoting emotional intelligence and well-being
