Role Overview:

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Braintree school. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ensuring they receive the best possible education.

About the Job:

This is a full-time, temporary to permanent position that requires the successful candidate to work 5 days a week, supporting students with Moderate Learning Difficulty (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulty (SLD). You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop individual learning plans and provide one-to-one support where needed.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support students with MLD and SLD
  2. Work in a school provision

Requirements:

While no prior school experience is necessary, the successful candidate must have qualifications and training in special educational needs. In addition, they will need to undergo enhanced DBS checks and complete online safeguarding training.

Estimated Salary: £22,500 - £27,000 per annum
