Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Headteacher to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a Deputy Headteacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the vision and direction of our school, creating a positive impact on the lives of our pupils.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the primary provision, ensuring that everything aligns with Ofsted standards and the school's development goals. You will oversee and adapt the primary curriculum to meet both Ofsted expectations and the unique needs of pupils, especially those with SEMH and complex learning challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the primary provision and ensure alignment with Ofsted standards and school development goals.
- Oversee and adapt the primary curriculum to meet Ofsted expectations and unique pupil needs.
- Maintain high expectations for pupil outcomes and ensure safeguarding protocols are followed.
- Lead staff development, mentoring and inspiring your team, fostering collaboration across Education and Therapeutic Services.
- Manage resources, oversee staff performance, and ensure a safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher status with at least 2 years of management experience in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted/KCSiE standards.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire staff, with excellent communication skills and resource management.
- Confidence in using data for self-evaluation, setting targets, and problem-solving, paired with strong analytical skills.
