Ergonomics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Ergonomics Specialist to join our team at Airbus UK. As an Ergonomics Specialist, you will play a key role in optimizing human working conditions and improving overall system performance in our manufacturing facilities.

• Conduct ergonomics work analysis of Assembly/Installation activities
• Provide ergonomics recommendations to address ergonomic associated risk factors
• Support building ergonomics action plans, suited to the industrial strategy and future evolutions
• Contribute to the definition of specifications, call for tenders, and subcontractor piloting in the frame of ergonomics-related outsourced work packages
• Ensure that ergonomics is taken into account in the design and development of new manufacturing processes and tools

• Educated to degree (or higher) level in Ergonomics/Human Factors
• Accredited to (or demonstrated working towards) Registered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF) or equivalent
• Knowledge in physiology, including work analysis, knowledge on human cognitive behaviors
• Understanding of cognitive sciences and applied psychology as cognitive processes
