Substitute Teacher Needed">

We are seeking a skilled substitute teacher to join our team at Veritas Education Recruitment. As a substitute teacher, you will work on a daily basis, covering absences and supporting the existing teaching staff. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, promoting student progress, and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach classes of children, following established lesson plans and curriculum guidelines.
  • Create engaging lesson plans that promote student progress and achievement.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification, an Enhanced DBS certificate, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK. We offer competitive pay rates (£150-£180 per day), flexibility to work around your schedule, and opportunities to gain experience in excellent primary schools across Leeds and surrounding areas.
