Paramount Personnel is seeking a skilled Traffic Management Operative to join their team in Bristol.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up temporary traffic lights, manning road closures, and ensuring all schemes run smoothly and efficiently during each working day.
This role requires flexibility, as the candidate must be able to work both days and nights, including some weekends as required.
To be successful in this position, candidates should have:
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- High standard of work completion
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong timekeeping abilities
- Flexibility to undertake shifts outside normal working hours
- Ability to take on additional tasks when requested
- Maintenance of Health and Safety standards at all times
Candidates must also possess:
- Lantra qualification in M1/M2 and ideally M5
- Full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 points
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test when required
The salary for this position is up to £144 per shift, with increased payments for weekend and bank holiday work. Benefits include accrued holiday pay from day one, pension contributions after a qualifying period, weekly pay, and tax and national insurance deductions only.
This is a temporary role that could potentially become permanent after 3 months, depending on performance.
