Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our team at Portman Dental Care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, working closely with our clinicians to help patients prior to complex treatments and maintaining their oral health throughout and after treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine and preventative dental care to patients, including scaling, polishing, and oral health education.
- Work closely with our clinicians to help patients prepare for complex treatments, such as implants, orthodontics, and restorative work.
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and excellent patient outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary cases and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
Requirements
- Good communication skills and ability to work with nervous patients.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
- Ability to administer local anesthesia and perform RSD treatments.
