Step Teachers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our young students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager in the planning and implementation of nursery activities, ensuring a stimulating and engaging environment for children.
- Take an active role in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and support other members of staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, ensuring effective communication and a positive experience for all families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the nursery's curriculum, ensuring a high-quality education for our students.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursery programs, making recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure the nursery is a safe and healthy environment for all children and staff.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years Education.
- Current Paediatric First Aid qualification.
- Recent experience in senior roles in a nursery setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
