Janitorial Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at BoyleSports. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Bathroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors, to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Waste Management: Empty bins and replace liners to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
- Terminal and Gaming Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain betting terminals and gaming areas to ensure they are clean and free from debris.
- Supply Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure that all areas are well-stocked and ready for cleaning.
- Adherence to Schedules and Procedures: Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and customers.
- Maintenance and Reporting: Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly to ensure that any issues are addressed quickly and efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
- Location: Must live within a commutable distance from the store.
- Independence and Efficiency: Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete tasks to a high standard.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills and a positive attitude to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- Instruction Following: Ability to follow instructions and procedures to ensure that all areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
Working Schedule:
The work schedule is 4-7 days per week, depending on the store. The shifts are 1-2 hours per day, outside of BoyleSports trading hours.
