Job Description

The role of Facilities Technician Lead involves carrying out day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of Ravensbourne's Mechanical and Electrical assets, ensuring they are in optimum operating condition by performing preventive maintenance tasks and reactive repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and estimate repair or project works, conforming to best practice and regulations.
  • Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
  • Ensure suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the electrical and Mechanical plant.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in an environment which includes regular face to face engagement with building managers / stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits

A salary of approximately £42,000 per annum, plus benefits including comprehensive maintenance records and Method Statements and Risk Assessments for safe working practice.
