Wayman Learning Trust Reception Teacher Job

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join our team at a reputable school in Kettering Northamptonshire East Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact on their educational journey.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the Early Years curriculum
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development
  • Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behavior
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Early Years Teacher Status (EYT) or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception) or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Early Years curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students

Salary Information: The estimated salary for this role is around £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a permanent contract with full-time hours.
