**Job Overview**

The Independent Schools Council is currently recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Specialist on a permanent basis to start immediately, subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks. The role is part-time, working 16 hours per week with a salary range of £11,588 to £12,536 (Support Staff F Scale).

The purpose of this role is to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across campus by providing janitorial, cleaning, and security support. This includes assisting visitors, monitoring venues, and ensuring all areas are free of hazards and properly prepared for events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine cleaning of high-use areas, such as restrooms and walkways
  • Performing general duties as directed by management

Requirements:

  • Experience in cleaning
  • Capable of operating cleaning equipment
  • Strong physical stamina

The successful candidate should have experience in cleaning and be capable of operating cleaning equipment. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa.
