Finance and Debt Specialist Advisor
We are recruiting for an experienced Finance and Debt Specialist Advisor to join our team at Advance.
As a Finance and Debt Specialist Advisor, you will provide expert guidance and support to survivors of domestic abuse, helping them to manage their finances and overcome debt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to identify areas of vulnerability and create tailored plans for improvement
- Provide debt and budgeting advice to help survivors manage their finances and achieve financial stability
- Develop and maintain relationships with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting survivors
- Collaborate with the duty team to provide crisis intervention support and advocacy
- Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives to improve the financial wellbeing of survivors
About You:
To be successful as a Finance and Debt Specialist Advisor, you will need:
- Experience of working with survivors of domestic abuse and providing financial guidance and support
- Knowledge of financial systems and processes, including debt management and budgeting
- Excellent communication skills to build relationships with survivors, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
- Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines
