Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling components and ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components according to technical drawings and specifications
  • Inspect assembled work to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements and protocols
  • Perform preventive maintenance and report any equipment issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs
  • Work collaboratively as a productive member of the team
  • Identify and resolve potential problems that could lead to equipment failure
  • Determine availability of components and tools
  • Read and confirm technical drawings and parts lists, interpret measurements, and verify drawing specifications
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools

Requirements:

  • Engineering, manufacturing, or assembly experience
  • Good attendance and time-keeping record
  • Enthusiastic approach to work
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Basic mathematical skills, reading, and writing abilities
  • Physical requirements, including prolonged standing and repetitive tasks
  • Manual dexterity to assemble products
  • Manual lifting requirements
