Academic Director

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pastoral Leader to join our team at Wingfield Academy in Rotherham. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic success and personal growth of our students.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with children and young people in various situations, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be capable of resolving issues effectively and providing guidance and support to both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide pastoral support and guidance to students, teachers, and other staff members.
• To work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a positive and supportive learning environment.
• To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to student welfare and well-being.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A strong track record of experience working with children and young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve issues effectively and provide guidance and support.
• Suitably skilled in numeracy, literacy, and ICT.
• GCSE passes in English and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent).
