Job Title: Apprentice Project Estimator

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

As a key member of our team at The Resolute Group, you will be responsible for carrying out take-offs, bills of quantities, cost plans, and tenders for a diverse range of clients, including sub-contractors, developers, and private clients. Your role will involve reviewing residential and commercial projects with new and existing clients, establishing connections with various individuals across the tendering process, and performing accurate take-offs for various projects using measuring take-off tools and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out take-offs, bills of quantities, cost plans, and tenders for clients
  • Review residential and commercial projects with new and existing clients
  • Establish connections with suppliers, subcontractors, and specialists
  • Perform accurate take-offs using measuring take-off tools and software
  • Discuss potential value engineering with clients to aid in meeting budgets

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8+ years' experience in civils in the UK, 3 of which as an Estimator with a small/medium contractor
  • Basic IT skills and experience of Conquest estimating software preferred
  • Knowledge of standard Conditions of Contract
  • Full UK driving licence
