Job Title: Dental Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions. As a Dental Nurse, you will provide clinical and administrative support to the Dental Officer, enabling the maintenance of the surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical and administrative support to the Dental Officer
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments, reception duties, document handling, and operation of dental computing system
  • Process radiographs, shared maintenance tasks, and work in the central sterilization area
  • Ensure compliance with GDC Principles and Standards for Dental Professionals
  • Manage patient appointment system and dental records
  • Manage receipt, despatch, and documentation of dental prosthetic appliances
Requirements:
  • Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) without restrictions
  • Valid suitable and appropriate indemnity insurance with a recognized dental defence organisation
  • Completed GDC highly recommended Continuing Professional Development (CPD) including medical emergencies, safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, disinfection and decontamination, radiography and radiation protection
  • Trained and current in emergency and resuscitation procedures
  • Undertaken additional health clearance checks for clinicians required to perform Exposure Prone Procedures
Desirable Requirements:
  • Previous Ministry of Defence (MoD) experience
  • Hold a Dental Nurse qualification
