About the Role

Beach Baker Property Recruitment are seeking a motivated and ambitious RICS qualified Rural Surveyor to join their team in Shrewsbury office. This exciting opportunity will provide the right candidate with a varied and challenging role with a wide range of professional work.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assisting with the provision of advice to landowners regarding the maximization of the value of their land through option and promotion agreements.
  2. Providing tenancy advice to both landlords and tenants, as well as property and estate management.
  3. Undertaking property valuations on behalf of banks and other lending institutions, mainly related to the rural environment and will include residential and commercial elements.
  4. Assisting in sales and lettings of property, largely development and rural sales.
  5. Compensation claims, grants, and subsidies, and joint ventures.
  6. Liaising with contractors, clients, and colleagues.
  7. Assisting in the delivery of agreed financial targets and being responsible for managing own performance while exceeding in core technical skills.
  8. A practical understanding of property, land, business, and agriculture.
  9. An excellent salary for the right candidate reflective of their skills, qualifications, and experience.
