Job Summary
Linum Consult is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team in the West Midlands. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of projects from initial pre-contract award to construction-phase delivery and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate project teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects
- Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, draftsmen, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and buildable plans and drawings
- Monitor and control project costs, including life cycle cost control and payment of invoices
- Ensure compliance with company and legal safety standards across all projects
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success
Requirements
- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent in a relevant construction discipline
- Professional Health & Safety qualification (CSCS Black card & SMSTS minimum)
- 12 years' post-graduation experience in the operational management of civil engineering projects gained from a Tier 2 contracting environment
- Experience with Project Planning software
- Experience in structural inspections, bridge repairs & strengthening is essential
- The right to live and work in the UK
