Job Title: Junior Operations Analyst

Saxton Leigh is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Operations Analyst to join our team in London. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our daily cash management activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review daily cash movement reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage payments preparation, fund transfers, and issue trade confirmations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in settlement amounts and reconcile cash breaks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of counterparties' information and SSI against in-house systems.
  • Collaborate with the Head Office and IT to ensure efficient department operations and implement new systems and products.
  • Support the implementation of new products and system modifications by liaising with stakeholders.
  • Provide coverage for other back-office functions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Ideal fluency in Mandarin.
  • Experience within a banking role, preferably in cash management or operations.
  • Understanding of payments schemes, including CHAPS and SWIFT.
  • Solid understanding of the UK payment system, including Interbank Clearing, Nostro account reconciliations, and CHAPS processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
