About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assurance Manager to lead our assurance reviews and coordinate the assurance review team. As an Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering fieldwork, identifying risk controls, and completing testing to assess control design and operating effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and scope assurance reviews, working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop targeted assurance scope.
  • Hold close out meetings with stakeholders, agreeing corrective actions to support the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Analyse data and provide insights to identify trends and inform management decisions.
  • Support the Senior Corporate Assurance Manager in developing the IAAP by analysing mapping of assurance coverage across risk, capability, organisation, and IMS dimensions.
  • Actively promote Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all work and support organisational initiatives, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in delivering assurance or audits across major programmes, large infrastructure mega-projects, complex organisations, with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of rail, construction, and utility industries, including their requirements and assurance needs.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-working skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and information to provide data-driven feedback.
  • Experience with Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
