Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) driver to join our team at Staff Assist UK Limited. As a 7.5t Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a 7.5t vehicle, delivering and collecting parcels to clients, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a 7.5t vehicle, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Delivery and Collection: Deliver and collect parcels to clients, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo securely, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, reporting any issues to management.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Valid HGV License: Possess a valid HGV license, with a clean driving record.
  • Digital Tachograph Card: Hold a digital tachograph card, ensuring accurate and compliant recording of driving hours.
  • CPC Qualification: Possess a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification, demonstrating expertise in HGV operation.
  • Experience: Have experience driving 7.5t vehicles, with a strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
