We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at Home Group. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers who have complex needs and/or mental health to develop their skills and live more independently in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence and help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Support customers with mental health and/or complex needs, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for them to express themselves.
  • Help customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, and maintaining their tenancy.
  • Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and regular reviews to ensure our customers receive the best possible support.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to provide a holistic support service.
Requirements
  • Possess a passion for supporting others and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Have experience of caring for others, either in a professional or personal capacity.
  • Be able to work on your own initiative, remain calm under pressure, and have a resilient approach.
  • Be able to adopt a flexible and personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Have a vehicle insured for business purposes and be willing to use it for work-related tasks.
