Job Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our graduate GROW programme, a structured 3-year development programme designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field.

You will be given the opportunity to specialise within your chosen discipline of geotechnical engineering and work on high-profile projects such as High Speed 2, London Bridge Station, Lower Thames Crossing, and Ontario Line underground improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of foundation, retaining wall, ground improvement, and earthworks designs.
  • Undertake desk studies, specifying and scoping intrusive ground investigations.
  • Produce interpretive reports, geotechnical designs, and recommendations for various geotechnical design solutions.

Our team uses innovative digital tools for producing accurate ground models and analysis of geotechnical problems and design development.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, or related discipline.
  • Graduating with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, and being a Team Player.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to use technical knowledge to influence stakeholders.
  • Will to travel and stay away from home when required.

We estimate the salary for this role to be £35,000 - £45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
