Supply Chain Launch Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Supply Chain professional to coordinate logistics for innovative product launches in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

About the Role:

As a Supply Chain Launch Logistics Coordinator, you will take ownership of the material supply chain process for new product introductions, ensuring alignment with engineering changes and customer requirements, all while minimizing inventory costs and supporting seamless production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with procurement, scheduling, and engineering teams to ensure timely material sourcing and production planning
  • Manage product revisions, minimizing excess inventory and ensuring smooth transitions
  • Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BoMs), Plan for Every Part (PFEP), and optimize material flow through Value Stream Mapping
  • Oversee material availability, shipments, and stock management, escalating risks as needed
  • Support production ramp-up by coordinating capacity planning and mitigating bottlenecks

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing with MRP system knowledge
  • 1-2 years' experience with launch logistics
  • Logistics or supply chain qualification (APICS, IoSCM, MCIPS, BSc, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in BoMs and ERP systems
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills
